So i had heard that quinoa makes a great breakfast. Well, if when they say \"great\" they mean healthy, then yes I agree. It certainly was healthy. Great as in delicious? I didn\\\'t think so. I\\\'m a big fan of quinoa so far, but on the breakfast side of things I think it fails. I absolutely love oatmeal and figured this might be a nice alternative. I can\\\'t say I loved it, but i would be willing to try again or perhaps just mix it right into oatmeal. I think the problem was really just the texture and heaviness to it. I\\\'ve put the ingredients and directions here so you can give it a try and let me know how it can be improved.

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 2-4

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp dried berries

Cooking Directions

  1. This is also a really easy one. Serve the basic quinoa recipe and add the cinnamon, berries and a bit of sugar. Add milk if desired. Enjoy!
